January 22, 2018 Death with Dignity: Physician-Assisted Death -- Pro and Con 7:00-8:30 pm Borg-Warner Room, Tompkins County Public Library PUBLIC INVITED
Currently, the League of Women Voters of the United States does not have a position on Death with Dignity. At the last New York State LWV Conference it was decided that our State League consider a position on physician-assisted deaths. This program will have a panel of 4 diverse speakers, on both sides sides of the issue. A question and answer period will follow, focused on the pros and cons of allowing physician-aided death. After the program, we will ask our League members
to consider a concurrence.
